On September 7th  2021, the European Commission (EC) adopted the revised Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS)11 with regards to the PRIIPs Key Information Document (KID) in all official languages. This delegated regulation has recently been agreed by the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) and the Council of the European Union to extend the transitional period for the UCITS PRIIP KID requirement until the end of 2022.

Together with this latest regulatory development, the FinDatEx PRIIPs technical working group (TWG) has set up an update of the European PRIIPs Template (EPT) due to the review of the revised regulatory technical standards (RTS) mentioned above2. Please note that all updates and changes in the draft EPT 2.0. are highlighted in green. Until November 22nd  2021 the EPT 2.0 will be under public consultation. The technical working group will then review the input received and update the template as appropriate.

We will continue to closely monitor regulatory developments through our PRIIP Regulatory Watch workgroup and will update you once more information from the regulators is published.
